Modern Warfare 4

Coming Soon

Warfare Without Limits: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Officially Revealed!
The rumors can finally be laid to rest. Activision and Infinity Ward have blown the doors wide open by officially announcing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Dropping on October 23, 2026, this highly anticipated title promises to push the franchise into its darkest, most intense territory yet.
From a controversial new global conflict to major gameplay overhauls, here is everything you need to know about the next generation of Call of Duty warfare.

The Campaign: “Dark Price” and a Global Crisis
Prepare yourselves for an incredibly gritty story. Modern Warfare 4 takes the narrative to East Asia, centering around a full-scale invasion of the Korean Peninsula by North Korea. The campaign splits its focus between two wildly different perspectives:
Private Park: A young, green South Korean recruit fighting on the collapsing front lines to protect his homeland.
“Dark Price”: Following his assassination of General Shepherd in MW3, Captain John Price is now an operator-turned-outlaw. Operating completely off the books, Price is running from the system he once served while waging a brutal personal war from the shadows.
The campaign promises to deliver intense trench warfare in Korea, alongside high-stakes missions spanning New York, Paris, and Mumbai.

Multiplayer & The Return of DMZ
Infinity Ward is aiming to set a “new technical benchmark” for the franchise, focusing heavily on grounded, precise combat and fluid player movement.
Day One Multiplayer
At launch, players will be able to dive right into 12 brand-new 6v6 core maps, alongside returning favorites like Gunfight (with a dedicated map pool) and large-scale Big War modes featuring infantry and vehicle combat.
Big Gameplay Changes
No Hipfire Bloom: In a massive win for competitive players, hipfire bloom is being removed. Your shots from the hip will now reward true accuracy without random penalty patterns.
Advanced Movement: Expect smoother traversal mechanics, including the ability to hang and shimmy along pipes and ledges.
DMZ is Back!
For fans of high-stakes extraction, the DMZ mode officially returns. Players will operate behind enemy lines with shifting tactical objectives, dynamic weather conditions, and lethal AI forces. Every extraction will force hard choices—do you push for more loot, or get out alive?

Next-Gen Only: No More PS4 or Xbox One
For the first time in the franchise’s modern era, Call of Duty is officially leaving previous-generation hardware behind. Modern Warfare 4 will not release on PS4 or Xbox One.
Instead, the game is built entirely for current-gen power, launching on:
PlayStation 5
Xbox Series X|S
PC (Featuring advanced ray-traced reflections, shadows, and ambient occlusion)
Nintendo Switch 2 (Developed natively by Digital Legends with full cross-play and Joy-Con mouse controls)
Note: Unlike recent Black Ops entries, Modern Warfare 4 will not be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch.
